Recognition of Ofsted Inspection
Good News
Last year the School was given an excellent Ofsted report. This was the first report following the merger of Ilton and Barrington Schools and was a credit to the hard work and dedication of all the staff, Governors, Pupils and everyone who has supported the School.
This has now been further recognised following the publication of The Annual Report of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector Of Schools 2002/03.
The report identifies a number particularly successful schools that had received an outstanding inspection report and have done well in national tests and examinations. Our School is among those.
This is a wonderful achievement as there were 3,041 Primary schools inspected last year and of those 293 have been highlighted and we are one of them. Also we are one of only two in Somerset.
Congratulations and well done to everyone at the school.
