Play in a Day
Key Stage 2 pupils working together
At the beginning of February, the Key stage 1 children from both bases visited "Explore @ Bristol" for a Science day. The children from Class 2 at Ilton came over to Barrington to work with Class3. The idea was to produce a "Play in a Day". There were 4 groups with 4 different plays and the children had to work together to act their parts, add sound effects and music, create props and scene boards with decorations. After a final rehearsal, they performed the plays to each other in the afternoon. It was a great success, with all pupils enjoying the chance to work and play together, sharing ideas, skills and talents.
