Farewell to Mrs Ferguson
After 8 years as headteacher of St Mary & St Peter's and for 4 years previous as Headteacher of Barrington School Mrs Ferguson retired today.
During this time the school has grown, gaining a school achievment award, receiving a wonderful Ofsted report and recently gaining Investors in People status.
Mrs Fergusons last day was marked with a Garden Party in the grounds of the Ilton Base followed by some presentations.
The Children from both bases then performed some very entertaining songs and dances.
Mrs Ferguson was then whisked away to the nearby Merryfield Airfield where she was treated to an exciting trip in a Lynx helicopter flying a number of times over the school.
