Goodbye to Old School Buildings!
We held a special ceremony to mark the final lessons in the old classroom before it is knocked down and replaced with the new school building.
We had some special guests who used to come to the school as children and also some who used to work at the school.
Mrs Ferguson told the children about the history of the school and how the buildings have been used as a school for over 55 years.
The children then asked questions about life at the school in the past.
Mrs Ferguson then said a special prayer for the school and the children sang "One more step along the world I go".
The afternoon ended with the classroom door being locked for the final time by Mrs Knot who lives next to the school and Mrs Hollard who's family has been caretakers of the school for over 40 years.
