Dear Parents
I am delighted to have been appointed Headteacher at the school until September. I look forward to meeting you all at the earliest opportunity. I have very much enjoyed my first week at the school - the children have been a delight to teach and all staff are without doubt hard-working, professional and committed to meeting the needs of individual children.
I am delighted to have been appointed Headteacher at the school until September. I look forward to meeting you all at the earliest opportunity. I have very much enjoyed my first week at the school - the children have been a delight to teach and all staff are without doubt hard-working, professional and committed to meeting the needs of individual children.
My aims during my time here are:
* To further enhance the standards achieved and quality of education provided
* To increase pupil numbers
* To implement plans to improve buildings and facilities on both bases
* To work closely with staff, children and parents to maximise the benefits of two bases.
I would be interested to hear of ways to further take the school forward.
Leave of absence
Pupils in KS1 and KS2 will be undertaking a range of national assessment tests and tasks between 8th and 18th May and therefore no term-time holiday absence will be authorised for that period and is strongly discouraged at other times. Forms are available from both bases to formally submit any request for term-time leave of absence.
