Lily Allen and Samuel Cornelius-Light have alsso joined the school. We hope that all of these children spend many happy years at the school with us and we are looking forward to teaching them.
Mrs. Ferguson will be teaching KS1 children on the Ilton base all day on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings and all day Fridays. She will be on the Barrington base on Tuesdays and Wednesday and Thursday Afternoons. Telephone numbers are Barrington base 01460 52266 and Ilton base 01460 52574. Mrs. Cunningham will be based at Ilton but will visit Barrington first thing on some mornings.

Mrs White continues to make steady progress towards full fitness. Although she will not be back before half-term, we are hoping that as she feels stronger she will be able to spend some time in school. I know that you will all join me in wishing her a rapid return to full health.

Harvest Festival this year will be held at St Mary's Church Barrington on Tuesday 4th October at 2.00pm. We hope that you will join us for the service which will be taken by the children.
We would like the children to bring in produce which will be made up into baskets. The baskets will be sold after the service and the money will be given to the Lepra Appeal. Please support this worthy cause by sending in gifts of food and buying them back again!

The photographer will visit school on Tuesday 8th November to take individual and family photos. Barrington at 8.45am and Ilton at 10.00am. More details nearer the time.

We are holding interviews on Tuesday 18th October when you will be able to talk to teachers about the children's settling into school and progress in the new term. The interviews will be held from 3.3Opm onwards. Appointments can be made nearer the time.

The PFA's on each base will be holding fund raising activities throughout the term and you will be kept informed about events.

For our charity fundraising this term we would like to support the work of Lepra which helps people with leprosy. The children will be having a talk about the work of Lepra and we are holding a sponsored workout on Tuesday 20th September. Please support this very worthy cause. Thank you.
