Camping Day
The children from St. Mary and St. Peter's First School Ilton and Barrington bases had a fantastic day setting up tents, building shelters and indulging in lots of messy but fun activities.
They started to build a wattle and daub wall (some had more mud on them thanon the wall) but it shows the strength of their construction as it was still standing after the floods of half term!
The children cooked sausages and toasted marshmallows over a campfire. There were lots of other activities for them to do and the children thoroughly enjoyed this fun packed day.
The children all joined Father Geoff on a bearhunt as he led an outdoor act of worship.
The staff and children all set off for their half term break with extremely wide smiles on their faces.
